More Planning stuff

I had planned on posting February favorites yesterday but I have been sick pretty much all week and haven't felt like doing much of anything! I have spent a lot of time watching a Vikings marathon on Amazon Prime (one favorite for the month) I will post the month's faves this week though. In the mean time...more planning.
I purchased this fun gold case...
To keep some planner supplies in my purse and keep them all organized.
Some new stickers from Sugary Gal shop. I have always loved Aladdin so couldn't pass up these cute stickers.
I like this shop. She has a lot of cute stickers and good quality!  (Sorry pics were taken kind of randomly on my bed...since I felt like crap and didn't want to get up)

Etsy addict

With my recent obsession of decorating my new planner I am discovering a ton of cute Etsy shops. I thought I would share some of my finds!
Getting happy mail is so fun! Most shops throw in a freebie or two. So many of them do that so much so that when I get a package from a shop that didn't throw in a freebie it's a bummer. Some shops really make their packaging fun too. Above were my first purchases. The stickers above are from Moogley & Me. Most shops make their stickers specifically for Erin Condren planners. A few make them for Happy Planners and KikkiK and I've found very few for Plum Paper but there are some. I have made the stickers I want work. Several sticker types are just universal. If you happen to ever order from an Etsy shop...always search on IG for them first. There are almost always coupon codes on their IG account.
This set is from Libby & Co. I really like the quality of these and the freebie sheet is super cute. Most stickers you find are repositionable which is handy for OCD.
These are from Salty Planner Co and are some of my faves! Love the Christmas sweater look and car with the tree on top.
These are functional stickers for blogging, IG, and Netflix...a must. The freebie sheet was hot dogs. Because who doesn't need a sheet full of hot dog stickers?!  Shop name for these is A Sticky Monster.
My Newest Addiction sells such cute stickers like these burlap and chalkboard stickers!
The Little Sticker Shop is one of my favorites as well. All these are super fun and adorbs.
Lily Daniel Designs is next up with some weather stickers, running, donuts, and March colors.
More from Lily Daniel...spinning, arrows, and paw prints.
Love these from Emerson Harper Designs. I will say the pink and gold and mint and gold sticker boxes are more like pink and brown and mint and brown. The colors aren't quite as vibrant as others but still cute designs.
On the other hand, these stickers from Burnt Owl Studio are super vibrant! Love how colorful they are.
These are super cute paperclips from Lily Layne Bowtique and stickers from Planner Kate.

Another one I adore...Paws Paper...super cute and vibrant colors. And koala bears.

Hello...how cute are these?! Obvs I am an animal lover so I am a sucker for cute animal stickers. Also, the cancelled stickers are hilarious. These are from It's Planning Time. Love this shop.
This shop is A Happy Blue Tree. The walk dog stickers are the cutest ever. I was searching for the no spend stickers and this shop had the walk dog, no Dr. Pepper, and the running trackers with choice of hair color on the girl...perfect.
Here is this week's layout. I have a feeling I'll have a hankering for donuts all week. Just a hunch.
I have a ton of ribbon in my craft room so thought I would play with making some plannerclips on my own.
They turned out pretty cute! I need a new hot glue gun to secure them but am off to a good start!

I have some more Etsy items coming in. Hence...the no spend stickers purchased! :)

Hobby Lobby finds

I made a trip to Hobby Lobby this week to look for some planner stickers. Found a few extra things of course!
I loved these unicorn stickers! Took me back to the days of Lisa Frank stickers.
I picked up this sign that says Hello Love...thought it was super cute and I say it to the dog all the time so I had to have it.
This 2 tier wire basket was exactly what I was looking for to store my washi tape in. I was excited to see they had one left!
 I also loved this tray.
Here is a close up showing the distressed look of it.
I have been on the hunt for another medal holder as my current one is pretty full. This was a perfect find.
And something about this wooden art just called my name. So into the rustic look right now.
 The medal holder hung up.
So mostly found decorations but I have purchased a lot of planner items on Etsy this week. I'm loving playing with decorating my new planner and using it as a creative outlet since I don't scrapbook as much as I used to. So glad I purchased the Plum Paper Planner.  I am heading off to spinning class shortly. Been battling a headache most of the weekend but feeling better for the most part and looking forward to spinning. As tough as the first few classes were, I am feeling pretty hooked on it now!

More trashy talk

My trash filled up quick this month...I'm going through a lot of my samples and feels good to clear out some drawer space.

I have a ton of soaps from Bath and Body Works.  I won't need to buy any for at least a year or more.  Obviously I was in the Hawaii mood last year.  I finished 2 Hawaiian Pink Hibiscus soaps and a travel size Maui Mango Fruit shower gel.  I always get the soaps when they are 5 for 18.  So that is $7.20 for the soaps.  I believe I got the travel gel for free with a coupon but it has a value of $4 typically with sale prices.  So we will call this section a total of $11.20.

My Advocare items I used up were my beloved Spark.  I used the Mandarin Orange flavor this time.  I'll go back to my Fruit Punch favorite now.  This is about $38.97 with my discount.  I finished a bottle of ThermoPlus which is like a fat burner/vitamin supplement-$23.97.  And another bottle of O2 Gold about $29.  So approximately $91.

My typical cut up lotions.  Vanilla Bean Noel is the only other lot56I really use if I don't use Mango Temptation.  I stocked up from Bath and Body Works when they did a sale where I got a bunch for $3 each.  Then I used 2 more Mango Temptations.  They changed up the packaging and the new one I used was the fragrance lotion.  The others I have now are the creams and the lotion was definitely too liquidy.  The creams are super thick and are kind of difficult to squeeze out of the packaging.  They should've just kept my favorite body butter around!  So since I usually get these when they are 7 for $35 I'll say this section is a total of $13.  (10 for the 2 Mangos and $3 for the Vanilla)

Skin care-I used up a chapstick that I had to really force myself to use.  I hate this stuff.  It lasts like 3 seconds.  I think this is $3 maybe?  I used up an RX bottle of Epiduo.  This lasted me possibly 2 years.  It's $50 and my insurance has said no more.  But it has done miracles for my skin.  I'll have to see if there is a generic version. Samples I used were Dr. Brandt Do Not Age Dream Night Cream and Time Reversing Cream.  Hated the smell of these.  These were both .35 oz. in size.  These are $132 and $135 for 1.7 oz  full size making these samples worth about $27.21 and $27.83 each.  A Vichy Night Cream $15 for .51 oz ($50 full size for 1.7 oz) and a Lab Face Cream $10.55 for .23 oz ($78 for 1.7 oz) .  Oh looking closer the Lab Cream was for men.  Well I used it anyways.   These were ok, nothing special.  $133.59 for all this...impressive since 4 of the items were samples.

Make up-Nars Eye Primer .09 oz.  This was a sample and I really didn't care for this stuff.  Also, given the size of the sample there really wasn't much to it.   A full size is $25 for .26 oz.  So if I am doing the math right almost a dollar per ounce or point ounce...so I guess I can say $9.  Crazy. The Loreal Butterfly mascara is one of my favorites but there was still plenty left in this thing and the little stopper came off so all I could get was a blob of mascara on the wand.  So unfortunately, I had to toss this a bit early.  I think this runs about $8.  The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is a great one, priced around $5.  Already have another one.  $22 for the makeup.

I didn't actually use up all this soap yet.  I took it out and stored it in one of my new jars from Michaels I had pictured previously.  However, I had purchased this pack of soap over a year ago for about $5 and it is still going strong.  It is a much cheaper alternative than buying a $5 bottle of shower gel every other month or so.  I'll say I have used up about $2.50 of it so far.  My $1 tube of toothpaste which I of course will buy again!  $3.50 total here.

Candles-Another Vanilla Snowflake ($8), still have a few more of these!  A Vanilla Bourbon small jar (10.99) from Yankee Candle and 2 mini Beach Walk from Yankee Candle.  Beach Walk is probably my favorite scent ever from Yankee.  Not sure on the price of these but I'm gonna call them $5 each?  Yankee is crazy overpriced.  $28.99 for this section.
I used this Method Daily Shower Cleaner up from Target.  This also probably lasted well over a year and I believe it was $4.99.  It's one of those really all natural cleaners.  It worked.

New planner and a surprise treat

So the dog is always burying her treats. Last night I felt her nosing around on my back in bed but she likes to burrow under blankets so thought she was just getting comfortable. Woke up to find her peanut butter dog treat next to me...safely tucked away.  Guess I was a safe hiding ground for the night.
This year I splurged on a personalized Plum Paper Planner. After about 2 weeks I received my box in the mail. The planner was packed up nicely.
The cover is said to be water and tear resistant. They sent a sample of the material-paper used to test. I felt like that show where they test things like putting mentos in coke bottles going at this piece of paper. I yanked and pulled and tried like hell to rip this thing apart. Nothing.
Then I ran it under water and soaked it. Then ripped at it some more. Nothing. It appears to be pretty darn sturdy!
My pics are sideways...sorry for being too lazy to fix it. Probably would be easier with wifi but working on my phone right now. (Centurylink fail remember?) Each month has a goal section, bdays and events, and things to remember as well as notes.
Then you have the month overview.
And the part I thought was pretty cool...the weekly section where you can customize 7 different sections. Basically organizing within your organizer. Yes.
 The cover page of February.
 A pocket in the back.
I added on the fitness section ans it's awesome! There is an overall yearly cover sheet then each month has weekly weigh in areas, goals, measurements, fitness plan for the month, highs and lows, and a daily exercise tracker with time, distance, sets and reps along with water cups to track water. Love that!
Overall I think I am going to really enjoy the planner!  I may have tried to say Plum Paper Planner 3 times fast a few times. Not easy.
