This is the result of two dogs conspiring. While one giant dog has his head in the garbage very loudly digging out leftover chicken...the other is quietly helping herself to a good sized portion of icing off a piece of a birthday cookie cake. This works out well for both of them since the giant dog REFUSES to pull his head out of the garbage and suddenly...those legs that never work well for him are supporting him just fine. Fine enough so when I yank him back he literally does not move. Since I am so focused on him...who is successfully feasting even as I stand right there...the little one enjoys her dessert in the background unnoticed. They executed that plan perfectly and both went to bed with a full stomach.
